2023 Safety Stand Down
As part of CD & Associates’ commitment to worker safety and in recognition of the National Safety Stand Down to Prevent Falls in Construction, CD & Associates was proud to conduct several Safety Stand Down sessions with contractors on our projects.
The Stand Down sessions were led in the field by our dedicated safety professionals and were focused on fall hazard identification, fall protection and the critical role everyone plays in preventing falls in construction.
Fatalities caused by falls from elevation continue to be a leading cause of death for construction employees, accounting for 378 of the 986 construction fatalities recorded in 2021 (BLS data). Those deaths were preventable. The National Safety Stand-Down raises fall hazard awareness across the country in an effort to stop fall fatalities and injuries.
Everyone in construction has an important role to play in preventing falls when we #StandDown4Safety.
